Substantively, I'm primarily interested in the quantitative study of human forced displacement, especially using internet data. This is supported by a methodological line of effort extending Transfer Learning to accommodate the severe data limitations constraining our insights in this area and in humanitarian analytics more broadly. Additionally, I am interested in deploying methods developed in the context of computational engineering, such as Digital Twins, to social science problems.
